As an artist and entrepreneur, I understand that artists and small business owners are often far too busy to dig through the heaps of information out there on how to build and manage their own websites, but also lack the funds to hire a website creator who can build and manage an aesthetically appropriate website for them.

Yet, having a website is absolutely vital to a successful art career and to running a successful small business. I’m here to bridge that gap!

I create clean, beautiful websites that:

  1. Inspire confidence in customers, gallerists, curators, and collectors.

  2. Consider aesthetics, design, and content specific to the arts and creative small businesses.

  3. Are simple to self-manage and update over time.

How it works:

  1. We meet one-on-one (in person or virtually) to discuss your needs and design a website that matches your artistic voice/brand identity.

  2. I build out the website and you provide feedback for me to tweak it so that it’s exactly what you want and need.

  3. I set up template pages and teach you how to use them so that you can update your own website in the future. (Or, I can manage it for you as an additional service.)

This allows you to have the best of all worlds: A beautiful custom website that meets your specific needs as an artist/creative small business + A budget-friendly web presence + The ability to self-manage in the future without the hefty learning curve = Win-win-win!

Rates: 1-3 pages: $800 | 3-6 pages: $1,000 | 6-10 pages: $1,200

Includes:

  • Assistance with set-up of Squarespace account and custom domain

  • Design of custom website (initial design + up to 2 design revisions, if needed)

  • Build-out of pages (i.e. home page, artwork gallery pages, product pages, about/bio page, contact page, etc.)

  • Set-up of template pages and training on how to use them for future self-management

  • One additional follow-up website tweaking and training meeting, if needed

Optional add-ons:

  • E-Newsletter template & self-management training: $150

  • E-Commerce Shop set-up with 1-5 inventory items, template & self-management training: $300

  • Ongoing website management: Varies with need

Professional Artist SERVICES

As an emerging artist, early career artist, or seasoned artist who wants to level-up, it can be hard to navigate exactly what arts “gatekeepers” are looking for.

I’ve worked in the professional arts arena—artist residencies, MFA programs, galleries, arts nonprofits, creative businesses, and more—for over a decade. I understand what gallerists, curators, jurors, selection committees, and collectors want to see. It’s my mission to help artists navigate the professional arena and level-up their careers.

Services:

  • Artist Statement & Biography: $200 | Includes a one-on-one meeting (in-person or virtual) to discuss and gather the information needed to compose a cohesive, sophisticated artist statement and biography—an absolute staple to have on hand, ready to send out for professional opportunities.

  • Resumé/CV: $75-150 (depending on length of career) | Includes a one-on-one meeting (in-person or virtual) to discuss and gather the information needed to create an artists’ resumé/CV, which differs from a typical job-seeking resumé.

  • Artwork Critique: $100 | Includes a 2-hour-long one-on-one meeting in the artist’s studio to provide feedback on artwork and career consulting.

  • Full Professional Artist Package (all of the above): $300
